Putting
the Professional Design and Adventure Back into your SEO
even if you are a beginner or cannot design a thing
By John Alexander
Now I don't expect this to be of interest to everyone, but if
you are like me and looking for something that is easy to use
while still being SEO friendly and very powerful.
If you like simplicity, but you've never been able to capture
that professional polished look to a Web page, then I want to
show you some screenshots of a Web site I am putting
together.
Keep in mind that while I've helped many folks with strategies
for traffic, I have never been a designer.
One of my hobbies is that I like watch old movies from 1940s
and 1950s in my relaxation time. Old film noir movies or
mysteries or even the lower budget B pictures are wonderful to
see and take you back to a much more simple era. I guess it's
about as close to entering time travel as we can come, to see
snippets of time recorded on film sort take you back to your
childhood. I realize that not everyone will relate, but we all
have hobbies and interests that we enjoy.
I have purposely removed the name of the site because I am
only just starting to work on it and you really don't need to
see the finished site to appreciate what I'm saying. Instead,
I'll show you a couple of screen shots of this Web site that I
am putting together.
Now remember, I am not a designer at all and I have removed
certain identifiers from this screenshot but this should give
you an idea of the simplicity of building a site and I've been
very pleased and surprised with how easy it is to build Web
sites (as it comes with over 200 professionally design
templates.)

I want to write about some of my favorite old films and
movies as well as talk about science fiction, adventure films,
old serials, film noir and as you can see I have mostly just
started with the low budget science fiction films I loved as a
kid. (Okay, I still enjoy seeing them again.)

I have had this Xsite Pro (Version 1) program a while, but
never seemed to have time to do much with it.
But recently, when version 2 came out, I realized how far Paul
Smithson and his team had come along with it's list of some 88
features (many of them brand new.)
If you are a designer or more advanced user, it certainly
allows you the flexibility to create from scratch. But for the
business owner or Webmaster looking for an easy way to build
Web sites, that look very polished, then here in a very nicely
loaded power tool.
But I started building my sites a few days ago just putting
a couple hours a day into writing content and I already have
21 pages written plus I have started a second site on another
old but favorite topic of mine and have created about 18 pages
in about 5 days.

Do you need to build robots text files - it's a snap.
Want to work with breadcrumb trails or Siloing - it's a
breeze.
I love the way you can link pages all together and move them
around into sub directories at the click of a button. Restyle
your navigation menu - instantly or restyle the entire look of
your whole Web site.
When it come to SEO or optimization of your page, they've out
done themselves. Imagine clicking a button and instantly
knowing:
- You page Word Count
- Your Page Sentence Count
- Average words per sentence
- Page Paragraph count
- Average Words per paragraph
- Flesch Kincade scoring (for how readable your content on
your page is)
Each page analysis section expands open to give you details
on any page:

Includes a readability summary as well as an accessibility
summary which checks for errors and alerts you to things that
may need double checking.
Here is a portion of the page analysis screen:

Helps you get a quick grasp of
exactly how any page is put together as well has how well the
element mix (shows you what the type of content is mixed
together as well as your links and everything is broken down
for the analytical types.
Next, have a look at this, and this is only half of the
screenshot of the wizards that are built right into
Xsite
Pro 2.0. The full set of extra wizards fills
your whole screen.
Read a few of the comments about Version 2 here.

I've been having a great time
with this HTML editor and if you are looking at a very easy to
use, flexible Web site builder then I highly recommend you
look at it.
Watch
this video which gives you an idea of what capability it
puts into your hands.
Version 2 now includes many brand new
features too, like these:
- Liven up your web-site with
Web 2.0 features including video, using the powerful video
wizard.
- Add quality name-grab forms
to your pages in seconds using the new Forms Wizard. Even
enables you to create forms which will submit to you by
e-mail, XMailPro, AWeber, Get Response™ or ListMail Pro™.
- Add quality RSS content into
your pages to help keep them fresh, refresh your content
and bring your visitors back over and over again. Choose
from hundreds of pre-supplied feeds – simple to insert
– and create your own, using this powerful tool.
- Insert advanced navigation
features in your web pages using this tool – allow
visitors to keep track of where they are in your site
structure at any time and improve the overall navigation
experience. New layout for Version 2.
- Quickly create syndicatable
RSS feeds from your page content – a great way to build
traffic from your existing content.
- Output your site
automatically formatted for mobile phone / WAP browsers.
With the growth of mobile web usage this is a great way of
widening the appeal of your site.
In Summary:
Xsite Pro 2 is an exceptionally
well thought out program and I expect many people will be
surprised at how easy it is to put together even a large Web
site using it. I have not even described all of the features
in this review but I am having a great time discovering more
and more each time I create something.
My vote is 9 out of 10 on the
HTML editor.
It does not get any better than this.
Bravo to Mr. Paul Smithson and his team for all they have
engineered here.
At the time of writing this
short review, Xsite Pro Version 2.0 is still on sale and you
can save
$100 on your purchase by clicking here to order.
