For today's article, I thought I'd dip into Wordtracker and
quickly grab a few random
Keyword Observations to Explore Phrase clusters that reveal exactly what what some
searchers are trying to measure, when they search Google.
Today's Keyword Observations were pulled from Wordtracker's paid member area
and
are only just a few samples of a whole lot more that you'll find when performing keyword
forensics.
Important considerations are:
1. The exact keyword phrase usage
2. The Popularity (which is how many searches are performed in a month.)
3. The approximate number of competing pages.
4. The KEI value ( A number between 1 to 100 and the closer to 100, the
easier the optimization is. The lower the number, means it is more
competitive.
So let's just dip in for about 5 minutes using the single
root word "measure."
Here are what people are searching for based on last month's data.

It's not hard to see how important keyword research is if you want to
eliminate or even reduce the stress of optimizing a page to
win top visibility. Do your research first, not later.
Remember that all of the above variations were grabbed
instantly using the single word "measure" and
thanks to word stemming included other terms such as
measuring, measures and measurment.
Okay, let's with gears and do a completely different look at what searchers
are searching for using the single root word "popular."
Here are what people are searching for based on last month's data.
