Perform Keyword Research with the accuracy of a Sniper.
By John Alexander
Your average keyword researcher
will tell you the importance of researching keywords. The
term "keyword forensics" is more about exploring
user search behavior, than just keyword phrase clusters
alone. What's new about exploring keyword forensics? One of
the newest ways I have discovered is 100% free (thanks to
Google.)
About Keyword
Research in General:
True keyword research is not about guessing at words and phrases.
It's not based on knowing your industry or on traditional logical thinking. True keyword research involves
refreshing fresh and accurate data so you can quickly expand
and explore a much wider scope of word usage and phrase clustering without actually spending hours of
research time.
The result is you come up with relative keywords based on
how the audience is searching the Web.
Let's start by a brief definition of "sniper."
A sniper is usually a skilled military shooter or marksman who has been highly trained to spot and pick off an enemy soldier from a concealed place. So while in search engine optimization, we are not talking about the aspect shooting or killing a competitor. The goal in SEO is to try to beat the competitor for visibility.
So the description of an SEO Sniper, might be described as a person who has been trained in SEO to get those top search opportunities over the competition and all in one try. The focus is on exactness and accuracy.
For today's article, I'm going to highlight some of the advantages of a powerful keyword research tool called SEO Sniper.
Major benefits:
--This tool actually works by using ordinary keyword data directly from Google.
--It does not use any Meta crawler data but only keywords right from the source.
--It also does not just display 1 or 2 metrics but actually looks at the real pages that are competing for a phrase and measures quite a number of on-page
factors.
Remember, you are never competing with an algorithm but you are competing with your competitors and I really appreciate the fact that Sniper forms a difficulty score based on actual on page influences.
--It also gives you the traditional timing and magnitude of traffic spikes to
consider.
--It gives you the PPC values if you want to look at those.
--It gives you the advantage over several of the other research tools that only return the compete number.
--If you enjoy using KEI (Keyword Effectiveness Index) it allows you to sort your data any way you wish.
Plus it is a desk top application and very inexpensive at only
a one time purchase (instead of a monthly membership) and no
recurring payments. Plus if you are interested in getting a very special offer on this tool plus several other tools,
you can read about the full suite
