Each Web site is like a maze, with the final destination being your products or services. If your potential customers can't find the pathway to your products or services, they can't and won't buy from you.
Like Matt Cutts said, "crawlability" is one of the first considerations of a Web site owner. Can a search engine crawl your Web site? By the same token, can a customer find what they're looking for EASILY?
